Trisha Steinbring, RYT-200
Hello and welcome,
My name is Trish, and I am so glad you are here.
I'm a proud mom of two amazing boys, blessed with a beautiful daughter-in-law, and, more recently, a grandma to the sweetest little grandson—a role that has brought even more joy and gratitude into my life. Some of my very favourite things include spending time with family, being outdoors, breathing in that fresh mountain air, and travelling.
I took my very first yoga class in 2013 and quickly discovered that it was so much more than exercise. It became a way to navigate grief, manage stress and anxiety, and reconnect with myself during one of the most difficult seasons of my life as I faced the loss of both my husband and my mom.
Yoga taught me how to quiet my mind, slow down, breathe deeply, and truly listen to my body. It gave me strength, peace, and hope when I needed it most.
I fell in love with what yoga brought into my life, and I knew I wanted to share that with others.
In 2019, I completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training with Empowered Yoga in Edmonton, Alberta, and became a certified yoga teacher.
In 2020, I opened Deep Roots Yoga in Barrhead, Alberta—a space where everyone is welcome, exactly as they are. Whether it's your very first class or you've been practising for years, my hope is that you leave each class feeling a little lighter, a little stronger, and a little more connected to yourself.
My classes are about so much more than movement. They're about creating space to breathe, to heal, to laugh, to grow, and to find moments of peace in the middle of everyday life.
I can't wait to welcome you with open arms and an open heart.
